SEC - Fingerscan System

Description: A Desktop Application developed in VB.NET and designed in Visual Studio 2010, PostgreSQL and Microsoft Access for its back-end. This Application is designed to be used for transacting Employee's Daily Time Record, Leave requests and other transactions.

SolidService Electronics Corporation Employees can now transact their daily time record on the Fingerscan System. They can log their IN/OUT Transaction using a Fingeprint Scanner to verify the fingerprint. They can also file their Leave, Overtime, Official Business, Swap Day-Off and Log Validation on the system. Employees can also interact to the system to view announcements,birthdays and other concerns straight from the Head Office.

Fingerscan system is used accross 30+ SolidService Service Centers(Branches), Including the main office. Also this system is running in a Network designed environment, and can Transmit data from their respective Location into the Head Quarters (Main Office).

VB.NET Microsoft SQL Server Crystal Reports MESSAGINGTOOLKIT.QRCODE VISUAL STUDIO 2010

Description: A Desktop Application developed in VB.NET and designed in Visual Studio 2010, Microsoft SQL Server 2000 for its back-end. This Application is designed to be used for Computing Employees Attendance and provide necessary report for the Payroll staff to process company payroll.

This System has a module that can Generate Memo (Notice of Disciplinary Action) based on the accumulative Lates and Unexcused Absences of the Employee, and trasmit the data to the Fingerscan System. There is also a module which User can set Schedule of Employee, which the data will be transmitted to the Fingerscan System, and then the system will only allow employees with schedule to transact.

Description: A Web Application Developed in PHP Language, Designed with the help of Bootstrap and MySQL for its database. This Web App designed and developed to help Department of Health's KMITS-ITISD track their IT Servicing performances.

KMITS-ITISD(Knowledge Management and Information Techonology Services - Information Technology and Insfrastructure Division) can now track their IT Services performance conveniently and effectively by just gathering and encoding Service Requests Forms data into the system. The Web Application itself has a "Dashboard" which they can view a visual(in form of Bar and Point type of data Chart) of their Average Completion Time on specific type of IT Services(Major and Minor) and Monthly Total Services Through the years.

KMITS-ITISD Maintenance Report development follows agile best practices like a single coding standard to which all programmers adhere, simple design UI for Users so they can easily navigate the system, Test-Driven Development to elimnate all possible bugs and unwanted results, etc.

EARIST-CIT Research Center

VB.NET Visual Studio Express MySQL MySQL Workbench

Description: A Windows form application developed on VB.NET Language and Oracle's MySQL for its Database. This App is design and developed to help Students of EARIST-CIT to easily and conviently view past thesis reasearch materials of students of CIT(College of Industrial Techonology).

Instead of Looking on the CIT Research's Bookshelves to fetch some research materials(Bookbinded Thesis Research), they can now just go to the one of reasearch faculty's computer. create an account, login to the system and they can now search and view(in the form of Scanned PDF) some research materials with the option to use the system`s filtering algorithms, which they can search it by Year, Thesis Adviser, and lastly by Course and Major. This will not help only the students, but the CIT Research Coordinator itself, because they can track students who goes by easily and with the option to print reports of students who visit and search for some materials instead of looking on the logbook.They can also print reports of all the current research materials that are stocked on the research room and stored in the system.

Programmer

The story that got me into programming is very much straightforward, because of my love into logical thinking. At first, im not quite interested in coding because of my previous love for playing games, but when I started to took BS Computer Technology and met my programming college professors everything has been changed for me. I love to always think when im curious, even if it's hard for me to process, and that's why I alyways coming up for a sensible solution to a problem. TBH, I am not that intelligent in other things, but i'll always try my best to be rational on things that are really matters.

So when my College Professor on my programming subject introduce me into programming, the moment that my professor give us a problem that we need to solve using a specific programming language(Java) and i started thinking deep because of the challenge, it started to give me a sensational thrill. And when I came up to a solution and it's correct, that is the time that i want more on programming. That's why i try to research more, learn more, even though that my professor taught us only the fundamentals or basics of a certain programming langauge. The love for programming and the willingness to learn more is the reason i join some programming competition when i was a student, accepting some work on making software applications and making able to complete the work to the highest standard as possible. now got me into a decision that i want that to be my livelihood.

My Specialty is in the back-end development with a focus on producing a responsive and fast software/web applications, But that not necessarily means that i can't work in a front-end development environment. I just chose back-end development as my specialty because i feel that my designing abilities is not yet on a highest standard category of a great UI/UX Designers ,BUT i am on stage of learning and willing to be trained hopefully when im in the industry.

Tools

I am opinionated about my tools that i first learned and if possible i want to still use in the future because my productivity depends on them, but that doesn't mean that i am less productive if i use other tools or frameworks when developing a application. In fact i want to use other tools outside my comfort, because it gives me an oppurtunity to learn new knowledge on other tools and frameworks, it will only takes a matter of time for me to be able to caught up and get the same vast amount of productivity just like using my comfort tools.

When i developing a website or web applications on PHP Language, Laravel is my go to PHP Framework. Because it is not only supports MVC model in which the model represents the data structure, it's because in terms of faster execution, Laravel is one of the best out there.

In Terms of using a framework on JavaScript, Im currently on a learning stage to try using some like React and Angular. Hopefully when im on a development team and they ask me to learn and use it on development, i am very happy to accept the task. When developing Desktop Applications, VB.NET is my choice. As far as deployment goes, .NET applications with OneClick is very easy for non-technical users to use. And when the target machine is a windows, it's a no-brainer why you should choose .NET. As for the Database MySQL is I wanted to still use, because MySQL database server provides the ultimate scalability, sporting the capacity to handle deeply embedded applications with a footprint of only 1MB to running massive database warehouses holding terabytes of information. Plaftorm flexibility is a stewart feature of MySQL with all flavors of Linux, UNIX and Windows being supported. And not only that MySQL has a unique storage-enigine architecture allows database professionals to configure the database server specifically for particular applications, with the end result being amazing performance results.
